HOW AUTOMATIC REMINDERS WORK

You assign the chore.
ASK ONCE sends the reminders.

Set a deadline once. Your teen gets phone alerts and sees a countdown, then marks the chore done for your approval. Less chasing, fewer arguments.

Entertainment limits

Our major next-level goal: parent-approved restrictions on selected entertainment apps if chores stay overdue.

Concept only · Not active in beta

Push requires installation, permissions and a supported device. App restrictions require native platform approval and may vary by device; essential communications must remain available.

HOW IT WORKS

Four simple steps.
A whole lot less nagging.

The goal is simple: fewer repeated requests, clearer expectations and more independence. Web push reminders are in private family testing; installation and notification permission are required.

01

Ask once

Assign a chore in seconds. Tap, type, or speak naturally.

02

We remind

Friendly nudges become timely reminders as the deadline approaches.

03

They do it

Kids see what matters next, check it off, or ask for more time.

04

You approve

Review completed chores and approve rewards. Parent activity alerts and web push are in family testing; photo proof is planned.

When reminders aren't enough,
the rules can follow through.

Our vision: when a responsibility is overdue, ASK ONCE can automatically restrict selected entertainment apps — like social media, streaming and games — then restore access after parent approval. Less arguing. Clearer expectations.

For adults only. We won't collect children's information here.

Good to know.

Will ASK ONCE restrict entertainment apps when chores are overdue?

That's a major future feature we're working toward. With appropriate permissions, selected apps may be shielded and restored after parent approval. It's not in the current beta and complete phone lockdown or an emergency-contact-only mode is not guaranteed.

How much does ASK ONCE cost?

The beta is free for invited families. Any adult parent or caregiver can send an access request; after review, we send a private signup link. No payment method is needed. Future pricing has not been decided.

Can my partner and I manage the same family?

Yes. Invite another adult through the family app using a private invitation link or QR code.

Can parents approve chores using a photo?

Photo proof is planned. In-app parent activity alerts are built, and phone push notifications are being tested with connected families.

Does it move real money?

Not yet. The initial app tracks earned, owed and paid amounts. Banking integrations are a future possibility.

Is ASK ONCE available in the App Store?

Not yet. We're building a private family test first, followed by TestFlight, platform review and a public launch.

Can kids get reminders on their phones?

Web push notifications are in private testing. Install ASK ONCE on a supported phone, allow alerts and send a test notification. SMS may be added separately.
